In most cases, finding of liability in civil court means that the defendant should recompense the victim or/and his or her family for monetary damages. In this aspect, the civil law system may provide victims with enough of monetary resources required to facilitate rebuilding their lives. In addition to this, the civil law system usually provides with a sense of justice to the victims and their families that the criminal justice system cannot.
