Different Types of Lawyers – An Introduction

A Lawyer is a person who has been certified by the government to provide legal advice on any matter pertaining to law. It can be a property issue, or a criminal matter or a case pertaining to abuse of health, marital issue and more.

The world of legality is a very vast one with a lot of sub-divisions within the main area. Likewise, lawyers are also professionally divided to specialize in every section of the law. There are different types of lawyers and some of the most prominent are -

Criminal Lawyers – These are lawyers who practice what is considered the toughest area in the Law. Their primary role is to defend people who have been accused in various cases like murder, rape, physical assault, robbery, etc. Criminal Lawyers are usually popular because of the way they tackle the case. They usually look for loopholes in the law so that they can exploit it in the favor of their clients. This section of lawyers are the ones who make big money.

Bankruptcy Lawyers – If you have been running a business and are considering filing bankruptcy, then this is the lawyer to go. He will help you evaluate your options and aid you in a successful filing of bankruptcy. You may have to shell out good money, but it is still a bargain, as you may end up in deep problems taking the route all by yourself.

Accident Lawyers – These are a new breed of lawyers, and you won’t find them in every country. Popular western countries like America and U.K are the homeland for them.  In fact, America has accident lawyers in every state and they are popularly referred as such. For example, Accident Lawyer Albany, Accident Lawyer Vegas, etc. Accidents are personal injuries are taken pretty strictly in these countries, thus giving rise to this section of lawyers. They will help you estimate the compensation you deserve and will make sure you get it.

Civil Lawyers – Like the criminal lawyers, this section of the law is pretty popular to. They take care of all the civil obligations of the citizens such as land registration, property disputes, tax issues, notary services and more. As a responsible citizens, we will encounter them at one point or other in life.

hey tard, you need a JD to be a lawyer. Not a bachelors in “law.” you can have a bachelors in anything to be a lawyer.
